Genetic Testing for Sports Performance
Discover your athletic potential and how to optimize your training. Available in 🇵🇹 🇪🇸 🇬🇧
We all have an athletic profile that is better suited to certain sports or professions, helping to prevent injuries.
This test identifies your athletic genetic profile, revealing your physical potential, nutritional needs, and sensitivities related to sports. The recommendations can be used by you and your coach to optimise your training plan.
Do everything from the comfort of your home. No blood collection is needed, just a saliva sample.
The test analyzes more than 80 genetic variants across 70 genes.

How to find out my physical activity level?
Level
Beginner
An individual who does not meet the criteria for the Advanced and Intermediate categories.
Intermediate
- An individual who performs at least 20 minutes of vigorous physical activity, at least 3 days a week.
- An individual who performs at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity physical activity or walking, at least 5 days a week.
- An individual who performs combined physical activity, i.e., very vigorous and/or moderate-intensity and/or walking, at least 5 days a week and who achieves at least 600 MET-minutes/week¹.
Advanced
- An individual who performs vigorous physical activity, at least 3 days a week and who achieves at least 1500 MET-minutes/week¹.
- An individual who performs combined physical activity, i.e., very vigorous and/or moderate-intensity and/or walking, every day of the week and who achieves at least 3000 MET-minutes/week¹.
1 . MET-minutes/week = MET level x minutes spent on an activity x number of events per week. The MET (Metabolic Equivalent Task), or resting metabolic rate, measures how much energy an activity consumes compared to the resting state. Generally, 1 MET = 1 Kcal/(kg x h). However, this measure depends on the individual's body composition, age, and health.
Do I need to diet before the test?
No. Genetic analysis is not affected by current diet.
Can the results change?
No, this test is done once in a lifetime. However, the test can be expanded to include new genes as scientific advancements are made.
Is this assessment scientifically sound?
Yes, this test is based on peer-reviewed studies.
Is the information confidential?
Yes, data is private with medical-grade encryption. GDPR privacy guaranteed.
